Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol2

I wanted people and myself to be able to take a picture and hangout with an awesome and fantastic celebrity. Which is why I chose to pick Andy Warhol. I set the coordinates to the Digital Media room #214 on campus on Chico State. So when you go to my channel Pop99Red you will be able to sit with Warhol and take a photo with him.

Collaborative Web Narrative

Anteater

The word that I chose to go off of was "Hunting." Which is why I decided to create an old western wanted poster. Where the narcotic agents have posted around town to try and capture the anteater. The reward is for $100, 000 dollars, Wanted Dead or Alive.

Aurasma

Since one of my hugest inspirations is Andy Warhol, I decided to create an Aurasma where a black and white version of him is the bottom layer and then by placing a colorful red version of him on the top layer. It can depict how wild and colorful he and his life was. Then when placed together and placing phone on him you can see how the red version of him comes forward instead of the black and white version.

Flash Project Final: Skull Diagram

http://myweb.csuchico.edu/~vharris3/diagram/

I wanted this website to have a simple black background, almost like it was old fashioned. Which is also why I chose the font of an old type writer, to give it a better effect for the title. I have always loved when you look back at old classrooms and you see a skeleton diagram hanging in the room. So, this is like an upgraded version. Instead of actual have one, you have it on a computer instead. The colors help distinguish between each section of the skull diagram, and then when clicking down you will be able to read the name of the part. Which is still interactive like the hanging skeleton.

Reading: Photography Is the New Language and It’s Changing Everything

This article is an interview with author Marvin Heiferman who’s book is called Photography Changes Everything. It’s amazing how he talks about photography being everywhere you are and look. Even now since taking Digital Media classes I cannot believe all of the imagery which is in my surroundings. The feeling makes me want to take what I see and create tons of painter-like landscapes or just use different sections. The way Heiferman represents a variety of perspectives of photography stills and video stills are fantastic comparison to viewing it only at one perspective. He is right about having the chance to reveal natures most unique aspects, instead of having to re-creating it in your own home to preserve it. Which is ridiculous. The world has truly become digitalized we use it all the time, for celebrities, websites, and classes. Photography has just grown immensely in our population and is not just a known hobby as he has said in this interview and book. His book has spoken wisely with a variety of perspectives on the world of imagery.

Head: Front Layer

This front layer will be the first object of my narrative which can be viewed. When placing it in front of the cloud of cold breath it will look as if the person is really placed outside in cold weather. I wanted this to be an everyday event in my life, plus other’s too.
